Today was a big day for the Normand girls, as Martha had her first day of first grade and Jennings had her first day in her new French Montessori school! They were both too excited to sleep much last night and managed to be up when Daddy left for DC at 4:30am. Hopefully they will be exhausted this evening! We walked to Martha's school and met a few of her teacher's former students who gave Ms. Powers two thumbs up!
Jennings was very brave and even said "Bonjour!" as she walked in the door.
