Jennings and Craig, off to Boston

Craig and Jennings left this morning for Boston for Jennings' first sclerotherapy treatment at Children's Hospital. Jennings has been excited for weeks at the prospect of taking a trip with Daddy all by herself! She has talked nonstop of seeing Boston's sights...the zoo, the aquarium, assorted playgrounds...all important spots for Jennings!

They have tomorrow as a recovery day, she sees the doctor on Wednesday, then she has outpatient surgery (if all goes well) on Thursday. Hopefully they will be able to come home early next week, depending on how she recovers. She's expected to have some significant swelling and pain for quite some time (could be up to 2-3 months), so we hope it will go well. The doctor she will have has an impressive resume and apparently has great success with cases of her particular type.

Please keep Jennings in your thoughts and prayers this week. And Craig, too, as he is traveling all by himself with a 3-year old! On the Prague front, Martha, Grayson and I will move to the Hilton later this week as our movers show up on Wednesday. We will be in Prague for a few more weeks then it's back to Charleston for a visit and then Austin to get resettled. More on the move and the future in a post to come!
